Amnesty details Gaza 'war crimes'

Truth is truth, though the Right tries to paint speaking of this as antisemitism. If we want peace, we must have justice.


Israel committed war crimes and carried out reckless attacks and acts of wanton destruction in its Gaza offensive, an independent human rights report says.
[...] The 117-page report by Amnesty International says many of the hundreds of civilian deaths in the conflict "cannot simply be dismissed as 'collateral damage' incidental to otherwise lawful attacks - or as mistakes".

It says "disturbing questions" remain unanswered as to why children playing on roofs and medical staff attending the wounded were killed by "highly accurate missiles" whose operators had detailed views of their targets. ...more

The story for me will always be about the mystery of life/death, the scintilla, and how we come to terms with a creator (being human, I tend to frame things in cause/effect) that lets us die. As for me, I think it's nothing personal, just that old best that can be done for now. But together we'll think of something.
